Frank Addleman
Wrestling Background

Frank Addleman has a long and distinguished background in the wrestling world. While at Redondo High School he places 2nd CIF. Then he moved on to El Camino College where he had numerous accomplishments including: a JC All American, 2nd state l959 (First state tournament for California} ECC Outstanding wrestler and ECC Outstanding Alumni Wrestler, and finally being voted into the ECC Athletic Hall of Fame.

After leaving El Camino, he attended Long Beach State where he was an NCAA Qualifier, placed 2nd & 3rd in the Pacific Coast Championships, was an AAU Regional Champion, and ultimately a 1960 Olympic Team Regional qualifier.

Moving on the the coaching ranks, Frank started the Corona Del Mar High School started the wrestling program in 1963 and won the League Championship in 1965 before taking the job as Head Wresting Coach at Santa Ana College. While at Santa Anna CC, his teams won the State Championship and he was elected California Coach of the Year and Southern California Coach of the Year. Since that time he was elected int the Orange County Wrestling Hall of Fame and the National Wrestling Coaches Hall of Fame.

While coaching, Frank still continued competing and was National Masters Champion in 1976 also Senior Olympics Champion in 74 and 76.
