Surfing Professional Sam Hammer from Lavallette, NJ, needs no introduction to the Mid-Atlantic surfing world. Sam grew up near the beach in Lavallette and started surfing at an early age. He placed at the US Amateur Surfing Championships on a shortboard in 1998, turning professional soon afterwards.
As a pro, Sam has placed at the Doc Heritage Pro and the Unsound Pro, and is slowly moving up in the professional ranks as time goes on. He is sponsored by Hurley, Oakleaf, Reef, and Dan Taylor Surfboards.
