Some Wrestling History

Sam Hammer was a successful wrestler at Point Pleasant Beach High School in the 1990s. He was a 4 year varsity starter and a district Runner-up.

As a senior, Sam held a #6 New Jersey state high school ranking and finished the season with a 22 wins and 3 losses record.

Sam gave up a college wrestling career when he became a professional surfer.
